INDEX; my second substack
When one page no longer felt like enough.
Ok, hear me out… I’m starting another Substack. Not abandoning this one, just creating a new space with a different focus.
When I first began writing here, I loved the idea of sharing what’s been on my mind and honestly, it’s been a lot. Especially around my career, growth, and everything that comes with getting older. Writing in a diary-style format feels like a release; a way to untangle what I was feeling, processing, and learning along the way.
But while I’ve been in Paris for Fashion Week, I realized something… I want to go deeper, to write more about the creative process itself, and to analyze certain parts of this industry that both inspire and challenge me.
I promise I’ll share a Fashion Week post soon… but to explain what happened it was somewhere between the shows and the chaos, I started questioning why I’m here and what I do. Paris has been inspiring, yes but also disorienting. The exclusivity, the fixation on image, the constant performance of it all, it made me pause. It made me want to step back and really look at what this world has become, and what my place within it actually means.
That’s when the idea for INDEX came to me.
While I was thinking of a name, I started thinking about how, at the end of every book, there’s an index — a guide that helps you understand the content, the bigger picture. When I was younger, I used to read biographies because there was no real guidebook to the creative industries, no clear path to follow. So at 2 a.m., I decided to create my own.
INDEX will be treated like a magazine, a space for essays, analysis, and visual thought. A publication shaped by the tension between art and survival, intuition and structure.
Where my first Substack ON MY MIND has been more personal, INDEX will be designed as a living archive; exploring creativity not as performance, but as process. Each piece will trace the ideas, images, and references shaping visual culture today. A place to think deeply, slowly, and honestly about how we make, see, and feel.
If you’ve been following my personal Substack, then I’d love for you to follow my new project, INDEX A new space for clarity, reflection, and process.
